The back of my small box says that to clean a 60 cup coffee maker , add 1 cup of dip it.

Restaurants use a bleach solution by health department code. It disinfects, cut accumulated oils, and when rinsed leaves no aftertaste unlike vinegar. After all, powdered dishwashing detergent is almost pure bleach.

It should only need rinsing with water after each use. When used a few times, brew water and vinegar. Then brew plain water again to rinse. But with general use, only a water rinse is needed.

Use Urnex. It’s made for big urns. It works with much less scrubbing than anything else I’ve used.

When I clean the urns at the country club I work at, I put in ice, salt and lemons and move them around the sides. It even removes old set in stains. Just make sure to rinse well because someone at work did not once and people had salty coffee.

To clean coffee stains off of anything we own, I use ice cubes and salt. Pour the salt into the urn. Add some ice cubes & swirl the urn around. I guarantee this will work.
